Description
Casa Sunset meets the typical charm of the Amalfi Coast, rich of arches and finely decorated with ceramic tile floors. The style is simple and basic, bright and panoramic. Casa Sunset is located on the west side of Praiano, with stunning views overlooking the sea, Positano and Capri. You can enjoy wonderful sunsets from its two terraces.
The house is organized on one floor, which includes:
• Entrance through a panoramic patio, equipped with BBQ, outside living room, outside table
• Water front panoramic terrace, with sun-chairs, garden living room and outside shower
• Living room with dining area, sofa bed (sofa size 160x190) and a dining table for six people
• Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher
• 2 double bedrooms (beds size 160x190) with access to the front patio and sea views
• 2 bathrooms with shower, one is ensuite bathroom
Casa Sunset is in the center of Praiano, on the West side, located on a pedestrian street, not far from restaurants and shops. The closest way to get to the house is throughout a flight of about 70 steps, alternated to a comfortable and traditional walking path. Upon arrival it is possible to organize a porter service, for a fee. From the house you can also choose to get to Praiano’s center walking down around 200 steps. Private parking is available on request for a fee, and is located around 400 meters from the property, or it is possible to park on the street (We won't be able to guarantee it).
Within walking distance there are:
• Local grocery
• Many restaurants/bar/pizzerias
• Local & SITA Bus stop to Amalfi & Positano
• One Fire beach club (20 min walk)
• Start of the Gods' Path

Being positioned midway between Positano and Amalfi made it convenient to visit both. Yes, there are a lot of steps - but that’s typical in Praiano. Having two furnished terraces and a washing machine was a big plus. The house could use a little sprusee more

Having two furnished terraces and a washing machine was a big plus. The house could use a little sprucing up but it’s comfortable and spacious. Rosa and especially Francesco were great - both in planning things before we arrived and in keeping in touch and helping book rides etc. while we were there.

Good local cafes nearby and a very convenient grocery store (lots of stairs like everything in the Amalfi, but very close to the home.) Overall it is a good space with an incredible view and the location is close enough to everything you could want.

Since it’s so far from the store and restaurants it would be nice to have a few things upon arrival (bread, fruit, cheese, water).
The plastic covers on the bed was noisy.

It is not overrun with tourists and offers great small restaurants, a very adequate grocery and cafe and wonderful people. The apartment is very spacious and the kitchen is perfectly charming and easy to cook and operate in for any size meal. It also has a nice sized refrigerator with freezer, coffee pot, gas stove and full-size oven!
